Please follow the below step by step guide to export data from the customer module
Step 1
Go to
1. Settings
2. Customer Settings
3. Enter an export password (Passwords are case sensitive)
4. Reconfirm it in the field to the right
Please note that only those with Admin access & who have the correct permissions enabled can export data from your Fieldmotion system
Step 2
Go to the Customer module, and at the bottom of the page
press the Export Icon
Step 3
When asked to enter the export password, enter the password
you have just created again noting that the password is case sensitive.
Step 4
Click on the
dropdown menu to select your export map
Step 5
Select your map
by clicking on it. This will highlight
it in blue. Then press Load
Step 6
Once the map
has loaded, then press the Export CSV Icon

If you would like to create your own export map then please follow the below from Step 4 above
Step 5.
Do not choose an option from the dropdown menu, instead
Click on the first row underneath the word From.
The column on the left is where the data is coming from within your Fieldmotion system.
Select the field you would like to export
The column on the right is where the data is being populated to on the spreadsheet when you export it. You can change the text in this field
To add another field of information to export, simply go to the row below and choose another option
which will then populate the cell to the right
Step 6.
When you have populated all the values you require, then press Save
A popup field will appear asking you to give this Map a name. Once you have the name populated, press OK
You will now see the name of the map populate into the Map Field Name, then press Export CSV icon.
Once you have created an export map and saved it, it will be available for selection by your and your colleagues at any stage going forward.
